Wild card 2
For my wildcard i would like to talk about my friend. He wishes to remain anonymous so ill keep it limited. My best friend whom ive known since i was 4 years old was recently diagnosed with cancer. He is starting chemotherapy today and we are all nervous. He will make it through this procedure, but it is going to be a long and hard challenge in his life. He will need all the support he can get. It all started when he had a tumor surface to be visible on his neck, this sadly enough occurred on his birthday this year. While none of us thought it was serious there was always the chance it could have been. Two months later, here we are. The survival rate of his procedures are very high. Above 90%, but this is still the scariest thing that can happen to someone. Theyre fine, then all of a sudden they have to kill cancerous cells in their body by undergoing chemotherapy. I would like to thank you if you read this.
Ads ads ads

As seen above, this ad is pretty clever. Nestle has always had clever commercials to advertise their product.
This one appeals to an everyday person. Maybe youre just walking by, and you see it and think; Wow i could use a kit kat that sounds nice.
As seen in this one above, they take almost the same approach to advertisement. Some people dont watch television or have the time to look through a magazine. Product placement like this ensures people will see it in their everyday life.
Nightfall's Poem
Reality
shattering all around me
Delusions
kick in, paranoia tingling
Palms
sweaty, teethe chattering
What is
this? Where am I?
Mental
hallucinations enroll my mind
Vile
memories floating in abyss
The worst
horrors I’ve seen ensue me
It’s cold,
and dark, and such a fright
Tongue tied,
disgusting sights
Lying there
silently, an idea crept in
Picking up
the pieces of reality around me
A brief
glimpse of where happiness lies
Warmth
creeps into me
The memories
fade away, tongue unraveled
Hallucinations
dissipate into the void
Euphoria
slips in, mind renewed
Eyes open,
just a dream…

The Giver
To be raised in a community where your destiny is basically preset.... well that would drive me insane. Jonas is a strong person to have to deal with this all. I honestly feel bad for him, that is if this was a true story. To re-read this book after years is incredible. There is a lot i didnt realize the first time through. No spoilers though haha.
